DESCRIPTION:Join us for an outing to Plenty Gorge with Larissa Hill and special guest Peter Bennett from the BirdLife Australia Photography Group.\nThe Morang Wetlands are a standout feature of the Parks Victoria Plenty Gorge Parklands. Enjoy easy, scenic walking tracks that wind their way past a series of lakes and swamps set among beautiful tree-lined surrounds. The wetlands are recognised as an eBird hotspot, with 152 recorded bird species, offering excellent photographic opportunities.\nIn addition to prolific birdlife, the area supports a rich diversity of mammals, reptiles, frogs and insects — including large mobs of eastern grey kangaroos often seen grazing nearby.\nFinal details, including meeting time and location, will be confirmed closer to the date.\n
